Maeba Jonas is an ordained minister in the progressive Christian denomination United Church of Christ (UCC). She received her graduate degree from Yale Divinity School and currently serves as an Interfaith Chaplain and spiritual leader in Baltimore, Maryland. She has been a member of the Shalom Community for over a decade, and strives to live her life by the Principles and Skills of Loving. Maeba believes all people are worthy of deep connection, as well as a passionate relationship with themselves, and with the Divine. She is committed to the belief that everyone is worthy of happiness and flourishing in their lives and that this goal starts by looking within. As a retreat leader and facilitator of the Shalom Process Maeba believes in finding spiritual connection through a grounded and body-centered approach to healing.
