Covenant of Care

March 2023

Shalom Mountain, Inc. cannot prevent the exposure to, contract of, or spread of COVID-19 or other transmissible diseases while attending programming on the premises. At this time, we are requiring participants of Shalom Mountain on-site events to agree to a Covenant of Care.  Vaccinations are no longer required, and reporting of symptoms continues to be of utmost importance.  Exercising particular caution in protecting oneself in public spaces and at large indoor events in the week leading up to a retreat will help protect everyone.

Covenant of Care

I agree that:

  • I will cancel my registration if I have any symptoms of transmissible illness.

  • I will cancel my registration, if within 5 days prior to my attendance at Shalom Mountain, I have tested positive for COVID-19 or I have been in contact with someone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19.

  • For 5 days following my visit, if I develop symptoms of illness, I agree to be tested for COVID-19 and notify Shalom Mountain of a positive result.

  • I understand that if I choose to attend Shalom Mountain, Inc. programming, I may be exposing myself to and/or increasing my risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19 or other transmissible diseases.

  • I will not hold Shalom Mountain, Inc or its staff and officers liable for any risks of exposure incurred by my in-person participation.
