What does it mean to be an elder in today’s world? How do we bring the wisdom of our years to help each other live more fully, more vibrantly, more “soulfully” into this stage of the journey? Just as parents need other parents and couples need other couples, elders need other elders who’ve experienced both the unique joys and often daunting challenges associated with this stage of life. Come join us as we explore an Elder Journey rooted in spiritual openness, mutual care, and the possibility of continuing growth.
About the FacilitatorS
Jon Terrell (he, him) has led retreats and individual sessions focusing on energy healing, emotional process, and personal awakening for over 50 years in the US and internationally. He has a private practice offering counseling, body-oriented healing, and advanced meditation training at Star Dance Ranch in western Massachusetts, where he lives.
Stephanie Roy (she, her) is a body-oriented Process Therapist, group facilitator, public speaker and Process Retreat leader. She has extensive post-graduate training in process work, including 2 years at the Institute of Process Therapy in New Haven and 2 years of Retreat and Leadership Training (with a 6-month Internship) at Shalom Mountain. She is also certified in “The Work” of Byron Katie. Since 1995 she has facilitated Shalom Retreats, as well as a variety of personally developed retreats and workshops, in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Colorado and Ireland. Now semi-retired, Stephanie currently lives in southern Maine and maintains a small private practice.
