Brian SanGiacomo

Brian SanGiacomo (he/him) has been involved with the young adult and men’s community at Shalom Mountain for several years.

Brian is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies and Political Science.  He works in Technology & Operations and enjoys using his active listening, technological understanding, and creative imagination to transform working environments.

Brian has a rich interest in prophetic religious movements that call the world to personal and collective advancement.  Years ago, Brian became deeply interested in theology, ethics, and political/collective action.  He considered a vocation as a priest, and while he no longer feels called there, still has a deep longing to cultivate his internal, spiritual life and share that passion with others.

Brian continues to find new ways to engage in sacred life that bring him spiritual fulfillment.  He can often be heard talking about Shalom as a sacred space, a holy ground, a spiritual home.  Brian’s intention for his service is to be an advocate for all, especially the Young Adult Community.  He views his work with the Board as a way to assist in this home’s collective stewardship.
